Stephen Lloyds Christmas message

Christmas is a time for most of us to get together, to celebrate and to enjoy ourselves with our families. For some though, Christmas can be difficult. It can bring back memories of loved ones who are no longer with us. It can be a time of loneliness.
So this year my message has nothing to do with politics. Instead I'd like to suggest that we all pause, just for a moment in our busy lives, and look around where we live and work. Is there anyone we know or even are just vaguely aware of who may be on their own or in a particularly sad frame of mind this year?. A neighbour perhaps or a work colleague? If so let's take a small step toward them. Let's find the time. Perhaps with a gift or a Christmas card or even just a little more of our company. It could make a difference.
Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year to all the residents of Eastbourne & Willingdon.
