Lib Dem campaigner Stephen Lloyd joined Eastbourne Mayor Greg Szanto and others to celebrate local restaurant Mai Thai Too's first year anniversary.
The popular Thai restaurant, on the corner of Seaside Road and Bourne Street, welcomed more than thirty guests to its anniversary evening. Guests were treated to a celebratory meal and a traditional Thai dance.
Stephen said, "I was delighted to be a part of Mai Thai Too's first year anniversary celebrations. It's been a great evening and I'm grateful to the Mayor for being part of the evening and for giving a fine speech."
"I dine regularly at Mai Thai Too - it's one of Eastbourne's best kept secrets. I strongly recommend that food-lovers come down and experience the culinary delights on offer for themselves."
Restaurant co-owner Adul Tangkham added, "Mai Thai Too has had a successful first year and we are excited about our future in Eastbourne. We are grateful to Stephen Lloyd for helping us organise this evening's event. Everyone I have spoken to has enjoyed the festivities and we hope that more people will come to Mai Thai Too as a result."
