Stephen Lloyd Hosts Lobby Surgery

February 8, 2013 12:37 PM

On Saturday the 26th of January, Stephen Lloyd MP and Councillor Pat Rodohan hosted a Lobby surgery along many of the apartment blocks on Upperton Road.

Stephen and Cllr. Rodohan met with residents in the Lobby of their flats and they expressed a number of concerns including speeding, parking controls and the poor condition of pavements in the area.

Stephen commented 'it is very important for me to be accessible to all my constituents. Whilst I hold community surgeries across the town, I was concerned that some older residents who reside in flats were unable to see me. This Lobby surgery enabled me to meet with those constituents, and I'm currently working on the issues that were discussed'.

Cllr. Rodohan added 'I want to thank the residents who gave us such a warm reception on Saturday, and I'm looking forward to the next one'.
