Successes so far include:

Lib Dem County Councillor Steve Wallis commented "Works continue to 2016 with the recent news of the purchase of the former cash convertors building which will be transformed into new retail space as well as enhancements at 67-69 Seaside and 1-5 Seaside.

"Traditional beach huts will be installed opposite Princes Park whilst the park itself is undergoing a massive refurbishment with an updated cafe, new entrance and plaza space"

The DDF is also running a competition for the design of five iconic fresh and funky beach huts attracting international attention. Cllr Margaret Bannister added "DDF is not only concerned with bringing new homes and investment into the area, but also about regenerating the area. Thanks to all our partners who bring so much passion and determination to our area".
