Back the Domestic Abuse Bill

In UK law, there is no specific offence of domestic abuse. This has to change.

Many domestic abusers are convicted with offences like ‘common assault’ or Grievous Bodily Harm (GBH).
This means that many are eligible for the government’s early release scheme — and some are being released as a result.

The government is putting domestic abuse survivors’ safety at risk.
Passing this bill will protect survivors of domestic abuse.
