Key things we’re after from you
You know how to get things done
You’re hot on deadlines, can bash out a strong email or article in no time, and aren’t afraid to just pick up the phone to whoever to get a task over the line. You can achieve results on your own, just as much as you can by collaborating with the team.
You’re a wordsmith with an eye for design
You’ve got experience writing copy that wins hearts and minds. With sharp attention to detail, you know the difference between a good leaflet and a bad one. A bonus would be experience using desktop publishing tools.
You’ve got a political mind
You’ll always be thinking about how Josh can use Parliament and its procedures to put Eastbourne centre stage. You know what activity can capture the attention of the Government, the media and the public.
You can multitask with ease
You’re organised enough to manage lots of simultaneous demands from volunteers, the staff team and Josh without losing your cool, losing sight of your goals, nor losing your magic touch. You might even be a fan of project management tools like Monday.com.
You care enough to get stuck right in
You’re invested in our mission to empower the people of Eastbourne, and to help Josh to be the best MP he can be. You’re prepared to roll up your sleeves and are a ‘yes and…’ kind of person, not a ‘computer says no’ kind of person.
